Photography is a form of art where you capture a moment of your vision that will never happen again. Photography is important because you get to document your memories and relive them when looking back at them. People don't only take photographs to have visual memories, but to express themselves and in a way portray a message or opinion to the public, since a single photo can say more than a million words. Sometime ignorance can get in the way of hearing, so the only way to talk is through photography. Photography helps us see the world. You might spot a scenery and capture it on camera, and later on you could examine the photograph in depth and notice little significant details and it makes you think and make connections. Photos have the power to trigger an emotion inside of us and could lead to exploring ourselves as human beings and finding our purpose. Photography is important because it gives an opportunity to anyone to get creative since it is a form of art. Photography is all about the use of composition, angles and tones. There is no such thing as a bad picture. If it is someone expressing themselves, it can't be bad and therefore it is hard to decide when a photograph is good. Also, different people have different interpretations and preferences. There is many types of photography so it is open for all audiences. For example: still life, wildlife, fashion, beauty, abstract, black and white, and nature photography.
Photos can't always be trusted because a photograph captures only a part of scenery and the audience doesn't know what is beyond the frames. The photographer will always show what he wants the viewers to see. The best place to view a photograph is on a large computer screen where you can examine every small detail you might not have seen before. The light also brings the photo to life. Another good place to view a photograph could be in a gallery with controlled lighting which would compliment the photograph and mesmerise the viewers.
